n this introduction of handwoven seed bead jewelry you will be introduced to a few simple techniques to get comfortable with working on such a small scale, see examples of what can be accomplished with those techniques learned, and by the end of the workshop, everyone will be able to leave with a small finished beaded ring. If you zip right through the basics, you'll be provided guidance on how to start a more complex project like a bracelet or necklace, but if you prefer to take your time you will be able to leave with a project and the necessary skills to finish it on your time.

- An assortment of seed beads
- Weaving needles (size 10 Beadsmith needles)
- Nymo thread (size B)
- Beading mats/ Bead trays
- Reference material/handout
About the Teacher:
Janine Rissewyck is a simply delightful person and the designer and maker of her own seed beaded jewelry line called OfJune. Janine moved to Asheville a few years ago and is happy to call it home, and we are lucky to have her here to share her knowledge, experience, and inspiration.
