Dyed in-house by the mill's founder, these naturally dyed hanks of merino yarn are unique and incredibly fun to knit with. Julie dyes the yarns seasonally using locally grown and wild harvested plants, as well as using rarer plant dyes from around the world. Julie has studied natural dying techniques for years and visited traditional natural dyers all over the world to learn their tips and tricks. She shares her knowledge openly and willingly with everyone who works here at the mill, as well as teaching a natural dye class once a season.

While we get too much variety from our natural dyes to take individual shots of each colorway, you can choose colors you're looking for or pick the "Mystery Three" option where we will send you 3 hanks of gorgeous and complementary colored yarn to play with.
