This super easy knit would be a great project for a first time knitter. Knit in garter stitch, this pot holder, or trivet, is knit out of two ends of our organic cotton lanyard yarn and is thick enough that it protects your hand or table from high heat. This kit makes a wonderful gift because it can be knit in as little as thirty to forty minutes and looks right at home in any kitchen.

Materials:

- 2 cones of Echoview Fiber Mill's Lanyard Yarn (chunky/ bulky: 100% organic cotton; 271 yds per 453 g cone) in Indigo, Natural, or Peach (This cone will supply enough yarn to make multiple potholders).
- One pair 10mm/ US 15 straight needles
- Tapestry needle

Gauge:

7 sts x 16 rows = 4” on US 15 needles in garter stitch. Gauge is not critical to this project.

Finished Measurements:

One Size - approximately 8" wide x 7.5” long.
