Projects to try with Ranger Merino:

Ocean by Christina Danaee

We love this sweater designed with the inspiration of the delicate seashells of the ocean. Knit top down in Ranger DK, this yoke ribbing is interesting and fun to knit, with the sleeves and body of the sweater knit in reverse stockinette, it is an enjoyable knit from start to finish.

The sweater, knit in size small, is seen here on our models, Coco Villa, and Jessica Sanchez.

Ursa and Ursa Minor by Jacqueline Cieslak featuring Ranger Bulky.

We are so excited that Jacqueline reached out to us about using Ranger Bulky in her new designs, Ursa and Ursa Minor. We loved the concept, the sketches, the sizing, and most of all, her attention to detail with this pattern. Warm enough to layer in winter, the cropped cut and open neckline will help these sweaters fit into the transitional seasons of spring and fall. Paired with the season-less colorways of Ranger, we are sure that this sweater is going to become many folks go-to-sweater for a good chunk of the year. We are grateful that Jacqui shared these beautiful images of Ursa with us, and happy to share a link to her ravelry page (below) where you can find the pattern. If you are interested in shopping for Ranger to go with your Ursa or Ursa Minor sweaters, we have put together this handy list of skein requirements below. You can also find a link to project bags to tote your yarn about, Lykke circular needles, and our stitch markers in a bottle, which have a dropdown option for the Ursa Sweaters that will give you just the right ratio of stitch marker colors for the pattern.
